At the end of this course, you are expected to:

  • Understand the basic concepts of drama.
  • Apply basic drama concepts to the activities involved in theatrical productions.
  • Participate in play cuttings and one-act play presentations while developing individual character interpretations.

If you are a second (or third) year drama student, click here to see how your class will be different from the first year drama students.

The semester final exams are one-act play festivals, presented in December and May. Students will select/write/direct/act/tech crew for this festival. Students in the class are also expected to participate in school drama productions on stage or on crew, and are encouraged to compete for a spot in the European Drama Festival in the spring.
